On a beautiful Sunday afternoon on December 1981, members of the newly-formed Larchmont Historical Society and their friends made a pilgrimage to six Victorian dwellings that represented a microcosm of the history and architecture of Larchmont Manor. From that day, the House Tour because an annual event and is now a Larchmont tradition.

To honor the tradition, in 2011, the Historical Society launched a website – Larchmont Homes – which features the neighborhoods, homes and architecture of Larchmont. In the tradition of the Historical Society’s “House Calls” series of publications assembling information about homes featured in past house tours, the Homes website assembles and digitally presents our house tour programs.
